Hi, my name is Dr Warrick Bishop, and if you're like most people, you're a bit confused about cholesterol and what you can eat and what you can't eat. Well, there is a bit of confusion in that space and that confusion seems to create controversy. Well, first of all, when it comes to cholesterol consumption of cholesterol, doesn't tend to alter your cholesterol levels in your body cause your liver stops producing your own cholesterol if you're consuming it. So, a couple of eggs a week is not a big deal for you.

One of the issues about fat supposedly being okay for you is that the person who initially advocated that suggested that fat was okay, but too much sugar was bad. And that's probably not an unreasonable premise. There was a fellow called Malhotra, a bit over a decade ago. It is a little bit of a confusing space. Eating saturated fats will push up your cholesterol levels in your blood. Eating healthy fats, extra Virgin olive oil might push it up a little bit. Certainly has health benefits.

I've tried to cover a whole lot of information about that in a podcast below. Please have a listen if you'd like more information. For now, however, I'd like to wish you the very best. Take care and bye for now.
